Champion SUP Surfer/Waterman Scott Chandler, Featured on National TV Show

Scott Chandler Stand Up PaddlerThe ocean is Scott Chandlers life. He just won a SUP championship this past summer. He has traveled the world and surfed some of the biggest waves it has to offer all while being a family man, as well as a mentor to some of the youth that follow his achievements.
Chandler has been featured on numerous films, commercials and documentaries involving some form of surfing. He is now being featured on a television special produced by Purina. Why Purina? Well Chandler, and his family including dog Zoey, daughters Tyler, and Kai, have just won their 4th dog surfing tandem title in June. Purina has put a show together called "Tales of a Pet Lovers Heart" airing nationwide on WGN and NBC.
Chandler also donated $2,500 to a local dog rescue organization "Second Chance Dog Rescue" in San Diego to help support their cause and to save dogs lives.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, The first episode of the "If It Can´t Kill You, It Ain´t Extreme" challenge went off BIG at Cortez Banks, 100 miles off the coast of California. The legendary big wave teams of Garrett McNamara & Ikaika Kalama (Hawaii), Carlos Burle & Eralde Garos (Brazil), Josh Loya & Kenny [Skin-Dog] Collins (Nor Cal), Darrel [Flea] Verosco & Shawn Barron (Nor Cal), and Chuck Patterson & Scott Chandler (So Cal) battled 40 ft. waves for bragging rights and a dip into each other´s pocket.
